Kuwait’s Foreign Minister Sheikh Salem Al-Sabah held talks on Wednesday with his Iranian counterpart Hossein Amirabdollahian, on the sidelines of ministerial-level talks bringing together Non-Aligned Movement (NAM) member states in Azerbaijan’s capital Baku. The encounter comes a month after Tehran’s top diplomat visited Kuwait for high-level talks, said a foreign ministry statement, highlighting a broad consensus among both sides over the need for more cooperation in a bid to preserve regional peace and security.
