Damascus: The King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Centre (KSrelief) has successfully completed its volunteer medical project aimed at treating pediatric cancer and hematologic malignancies in Damascus, Syria. This initiative, which took place from June 19 to 26, 2026, involved the dedicated efforts of nine volunteers from various medical specialties. According to Saudi Press Agency, the KSrelief volunteer medical team provided examinations for 150 patients and conducted six surgeries, all of which were successful. The project highlights Saudi Arabia's commitment to humanitarian efforts, with KSrelief playing a pivotal role in supporting the Syrian people across multiple sectors amidst the ongoing humanitarian challenges faced by the country.
