Al-baha: Al-Baha University has achieved a new milestone in the Times Higher Education (THE) Impact Rankings 2026, one of the world's leading university rankings measuring institutions' contributions to advancing the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
According to Saudi Press Agency, the 2026 edition evaluated 1,646 universities from 116 countries and territories. Al-Baha University advanced to the 801-1000 band globally, up from the 1001-1500 band in the previous edition of the rankings. It also delivered a strong performance in SDG 8: Decent Work and Economic Growth, ranking in the 301-400 global band.
The university also posted strong results across several other goals, ranking in the 601-800 band for SDG 4: Quality Education, the 401-600 band for SDG 10: Reduced Inequalities, and the 801-1000 band for SDG 17: Partnerships for the Goals.
