Thriving in sunny, well-drained locations, bougainvillea is also highly drought-tolerant and requires relatively little water, making it ideal for sustainable greening projects.
The colorful blooms have become a favorite attraction for visitors and photographers, while the Jazan Municipality and affiliated municipalities continue expanding bougainvillea planting as part of broader initiatives to enhance urban aesthetics, increase vegetation cover, and support the environmental sustainability and quality-of-life objectives of Saudi Vision 2030.
