Speaker of Nepal’s House of Representatives Receives Saudi Ambassador to Nepal

Kathmandu: Speaker of Nepal's House of Representatives Dol Prasad Aryal received today at his office in Kathmandu Saudi Ambassador to Nepal Fahd bin Mohammed bin Mnikhr. The meeting marked a significant step in fostering bilateral relations between Nepal and Saudi Arabia.

According to Saudi Press Agency, the ambassador affirmed the Kingdom's commitment to developing cooperation with Nepal across various fields, particularly focusing on economic and labor sectors. He highlighted the Kingdom's developmental achievements under its leadership, emphasizing the advancements in the labor sector that ensure workers can practice their profession in a suitable environment.

Aryal, on his part, reaffirmed the Nepalese Parliament's dedication to furthering cooperation with the Shura Council. He emphasized the importance of strengthening communication between parliamentary friendship committee members and highlighted Nepal's interest in Saudi Arabia's development across multiple sectors. Aryal also expressed appreciation for the Kingdom's ongoing efforts to facilitate Hajj and Umrah for Nepali citizens, underscoring the significance of these pilgrimages for the people of Nepal.
