FM calls new Romanian counterpart over cooperation

Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates, Ayman Safadi, on Thursday made a phone call with Romania’s new foreign minister, Luminita Odobescu. During the phone conversation, the duo affirmed “depth” of the Jordanian-Romanian friendship and their joint keenness to expand cooperation areas in various sectors. Safadi congratulated Odobescu on assuming her responsibilities as Romania’s new foreign minister. The two ministers stressed importance of continuing to strengthen bilateral relations in the economic, investment, tourism and cultural fields, as well as defense and security areas. The two ministers also discussed mechanisms for activating cooperation, and agreed to meet soon for detailed talks for this purpose.
