Riyadh: The Saudi Media Forum has announced a partnership with Snapchat, designating the app as a contributing partner for the upcoming edition of the Future of Media Exhibition (FOMEX), scheduled from February 19 to 21 in Riyadh. CEO of the Saudi Broadcasting Authority (SBA) and Chairman of the Saudi Media Forum, Mohammed Fahad Alharthi, welcomed the collaboration, stating that it will help share the experiences of the forum through creative formats from content creators. They will highlight the events of the forum and FOMEX, presenting their innovations with professionalism and expertise.
According to Saudi Press Agency, Snapchat is a popular app among the Kingdom's youth, offering everyone the opportunity to connect and explore global experiences through its camera features. This partnership is anticipated to foster social engagement, promote local talents, and create a media landscape that encourages positivity and shares impactful stories.
During its fourth edition, the Saudi Media Forum will reveal the latest changes driven by global developments and current and evolving trends in the media sectors aimed at tackling challenges and ensuring investment viability within a new reality.
