Madinah: The Ma'alem Marathon, launched on Saturday by the Ministry of Sport's Madinah branch to promote healthy lifestyles, invited participants to explore the city's Islamic and archaeological landmarks, aiming to enrich tourism while supporting vital community initiatives.
According to Saudi Press Agency, this year's marathon, specifically focused on the conservation of the Arabian leopard, began at the historic Quba Mosque. The route traced the Darb Al-Sunnah path, featuring diverse categories for amateurs, professionals, families, and individuals with special needs.
Following the exhilarating race, awards were presented to the winners.
