Riyadh: His Royal Highness Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, Crown Prince and Prime Minister, chaired the Cabinet session held in Riyadh today. HRH the Crown Prince briefed the Cabinet on the content of the two letters the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques received from Republic of Guinea-Bissau President Umaro Sissoco Embalo and Union of the Comoros President Azali Assoumani. According to Saudi Press Agency, the Crown Prince also briefed the Cabinet on his talks with Islamic Republic of Iran President Dr. Masoud Pezeshkian and Japanese Prime Minister Shigeru Ishiba, and reviewed the content of his telephone call with U.S. President-elect Donald Trump. During the call, he highlighted the Kingdom's keenness to strengthen historical and strategic relations between the two friendly nations. Following the Cabinet session, Minister of Media Salman Al-Dossary informed the Saudi Press Agency that the Cabinet addressed the content of the Extraordinary Arab and Islamic Summit, held yesterday in Riyad h, and the overall meetings of HRH the Crown Prince with leaders of several countries. The Cabinet praised the results reached by the summit, which are expected to contribute to strengthening joint action and continuing cooperation with the international community to halt the war on the Gaza Strip, aiming for security and stability in the region. The Cabinet welcomed the signing of the document of the tripartite mechanism to support Palestine, a collaborative effort among the Organization of Islamic Cooperation, the League of Arab States, and the African Union Commission. It reaffirmed the Kingdom's support for the people of Palestine and Lebanon in addressing the catastrophic humanitarian consequences stemming from Israeli aggression. The Cabinet called on nations worldwide to join the Global Alliance for the Implementation of the Two-State Solution, initiated by the Arab-Islamic Ministerial Committee and led by the Kingdom in collaboration with the European Union and the Kingdom of Norway. The session rev iewed the Kingdom's contributions and initiatives aimed at enhancing the effectiveness and speed of international multilateral action in addressing current and future challenges. These efforts are intended to respond to urgent global issues while promoting development and prosperity and strengthening common cultural and social ties. The Cabinet highlighted the Kingdom's emphasis, at recent international meetings, on boosting cooperation with world countries, strengthening coordination in various fields, and continuing its humanitarian and development assistance to countries and people affected by natural disasters and humanitarian crises. The Cabinet reaffirmed the Kingdom's commitment to fostering cultural communication between diverse cultures worldwide. In this context, it expressed gratitude to all those who contributed to the success of the "Arab Week at UNESCO" initiative, launched by the Kingdom at the headquarters of the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization in Paris, Franc e. The Cabinet praised the Crown Prince's support for national talent, which enables them to become leaders in various fields, believing individuals are the core and foundation of development. One such talent is the Saudi medical team, who was received by HRH the Crown Prince after having performed the world's first robotic heart transplant. Additionally, the Cabinet lauded the outcome of the 10th Biban24 Forum, held in Riyadh, where agreements worth SAR35.4 billion were signed to support entrepreneurship in various sectors, aiming to increase the contribution of small and medium enterprises to the GDP. The Cabinet also tackled other items on its agenda and issued several decisions, including approving a memorandum of understanding between the Saudi Ministry of Economy and Planning and the Austrian Federal Ministry for Labour and Economy for cooperation in the economic field. Furthermore, it approved an agreement between the government of Saudi Arabia and the government of the Republic of Mozambique in air transport services and a memorandum of understanding between the government of Saudi Arabia and the Islamic Development Bank to cooperate in implementing initiatives for the Oil Sustainability Program.
