Arab League to Hold Meeting of Health and Finance Ministries to Discuss the Arab Strategy for a Health-Friendly Budget

Cairo: The Arab League will hold a joint Arab meeting of the ministries of health and finance tomorrow at the headquarters of the Secretariat General to follow up on the implementation of the Arab strategy for a health-friendly budget and discuss its objectives. Assistant Secretary General of the Arab League Haifa Abu Ghazaleh said in a statement issued today that the meeting is to follow up on the implementation of the decision regarding the launch of the strategy issued by the 59th regular session of the Council of Arab Health Ministers, held in Geneva. She added that this strategy serves as a reference for Arab countries to develop health budgets that are more responsive and flexible to their people's needs. Source: Saudi Press Agency
