Riyadh: The Ministry of Tourism signed several cooperation agreements and memoranda of understanding (MoUs) on the sidelines of the Global Labor Market Conference, which took place in Riyadh. These agreements are part of the ministry's commitment to enhancing the skills of national talents within the tourism sector and enhancing the overall quality of the workforce.
According to Saudi Press Agency, a cooperation agreement was signed with Marriott Riyadh Hotels Group, which focuses on employing Saudi nationals, strengthening collaboration to integrate efforts, ensuring access to job opportunities for the national workforce, and providing training and development to enhance professional performance and practical skills.
The MoU with Hotel Management Company (Adeera) aims to build and qualify Saudi nationals working in tourism and to prepare job seekers for available positions in the sector.
Moreover, the cooperation agreement signed with Takamol Business Services Company seeks to enhance the capabilities of tourism sector employees, facilitate the exchange of expertise, achieve quality and occupational safety standards, and improve tourism services across the Kingdom.
The ministry is dedicated to empowering national talents in the tourism sector, exemplified by launching numerous training programs and initiatives to prepare and qualify local talents within the industry.
