KSGAAL Organizes Scientific Program in Brazil.

The King Salman Global Academy for Arabic Language (KSGAAL) launched a scientific program today in the Federative Republic of Brazil:ashmi, expressed gratitude for the ongoing support from the Minister of Culture and KSGAAL Chairman of the Board of Trustees, Prince Badr bin Abdullah bin Farhan. He emphasized that KSGAAL is committed to promoting the Arabic language locally and globally. This program aims to spread Arabic and enhance its teaching, particularly for non-native speakers. It also seeks to bolster the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia's efforts in serving the Arabic language and its sciences worldwide by training teachers, improving their teaching competencies, and achieving better learning outcomes for students of Arabic. According to Saudi Press Agency, the scientific program includes a "Forum on Arabic Language and Culture" at the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro, where Dr. Al-Washmi will participate. The forum will feature several specialized lectures by experts affiliated with KSGAAL and faculty me mbers, covering topics such as the exchange between Arabic and global languages with a focus on Portuguese, the history and achievements of Arabic studies at the university, the global status of the Arabic language and its teaching, the history of the Arabic language in Brazil since its arrival in the 18th century, and KSGAAL's efforts to support and promote Arabic, using the Hamzah test as a case study. Additionally, participants will visit the Arabic language department at the university, one of Brazil's oldest centers for teaching Arabic, and organize a public meeting with several professors and specialists in the field. The program offers three courses aimed at teaching Arabic to non-native speakers: "Enhancing 21st-Century Skills in Teaching Arabic," "Enhancing 21st-Century Skills in Learning Arabic at the Beginner Level," and "Enhancing 21st-Century Skills in Learning Arabic at the Advanced Level." A second "Forum on Arabic Language and Culture" will be held in collaboration with the Federation of Musl im Associations of Brazil (FAMBRAS) in Sao Paulo.
