KSrelief’s Medical Team Successfully Completes 29 Pediatric Heart Surgeries in Tanzania

Riyadh: Dar es Salaam: The King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center (KSrelief) has successfully implemented a volunteer medical project focused on performing open-heart surgeries for children in Dar es Salaam, United Republic of Tanzania. This initiative, which took place from September 4 to 11, 2026, saw the participation of 20 volunteers from various medical specialties.

According to Saudi Press Agency, the center's volunteer medical team conducted 29 open-heart surgeries during the campaign, all of which were completed successfully. The project highlights Saudi Arabia's commitment to extending its volunteer medical efforts through KSrelief, aiming to provide much-needed assistance to individuals and families with limited incomes in several countries.
