Riyadh: At the 2025 Esports World Cup in Riyadh: the "LAg" pavilion conveys a message that transcends screens and keyboards, focusing on gamers' mental well-being and emotions often overlooked during live streams.

According to Saudi Press Agency, this initiative was launched by students from Imam Mohammad Ibn Saud Islamic University and aims to redefine "lag," a term commonly used among gamers to signify disconnection or slowdown, as a symbol of inner liberation under the slogan "Let Anxiety Go."

The pavilion offers a comprehensive experience that begins with feeling and culminates in understanding. Through the VR Mood experience, visitors don virtual reality headsets to immerse themselves in the anxiety and excitement that gamers experience, fostering awareness and empathy.

The pavilion also provides immediate, free psychological consultations to tournament participants via quick online bookings with licensed sports psychology specialists. This service ensures accessible support, allowing players to receive help without the pressure of seeking it out.

Additionally, each visitor receives a tailored experience through the Matchy test, which identifies their personality type and recommends suitable games from the World Cup titles in an engaging format that combines enjoyment with self-discovery.
