Niamey: The World Assembly of Muslim Youth (WAMY), through its office in Niger, engaged in discussions with the Conseil africain franco-arabe pour les grades (CAFAG) to explore cooperation in humanitarian, developmental, and educational sectors.
According to Saudi Press Agency, the discussions between the two organizations focused on the potential establishment of a health center in one of Niamey's densely populated areas to address the increasing demand for healthcare services. Both parties also deliberated on forming an institutional partnership and enhancing cooperation to bolster joint initiatives in education, training, and scientific research.
Further talks included the development of private schools and non-formal education programs in the region. The aim is to improve awareness and guidance efforts to better serve local communities. Mohamed Jara, President of CAFAG, acknowledged WAMY's humanitarian and development contributions in Niger and highlighted Saudi Arabia's significant humanitarian support for vulnerable groups.
