Thunderstorms and Dusty Winds Forecasted Across Saudi Regions

Jazan: The National Center for Meteorology has issued a weather forecast for Saturday, predicting thunderstorms accompanied by hail and active winds over the regions of Jazan and Aseer.

According to Saudi Press Agency, active dusty winds are anticipated to persist across the Eastern Region, Riyadh, Najran, Madinah, and Makkah. These conditions may significantly reduce horizontal visibility to near zero along the coastal road leading to Jazan.

The report further detailed that surface winds over the Red Sea are expected to be northwesterly to northerly at speeds ranging from 25-42 km/h. Wave heights are predicted to range from one to two meters, with sea conditions described as moderate. Meanwhile, over the Arabian Gulf, surface winds will likely be northwesterly to westerly at speeds of 20-35 km/h, with wave heights between one meter and one and a half meters. Sea conditions in this area are expected to range from slight to moderate.
