Rome: Shura Council Speaker Sheikh Dr. Abdullah bin Mohammed Al Al-Sheikh met with Saudi-Italian Parliamentary Friendship Committee Chairman Marco Osnato and other parliament members during his participation in the Second Parliamentary Conference on Interfaith Dialogue in Rome, Italy.
According to Saudi Press Agency, Osnato welcomed Al Al-Sheikh and highlighted the cooperation and relations between the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and the Italian Republic at various levels. He acknowledged the Kingdom's role in promoting international peace and stability while steering clear of conflicts.
The Shura Council speaker emphasized the importance of strengthening bilateral relations to serve the shared interests of both countries and their peoples. He praised the existing fraternal ties between the two nations.
During the meeting, they reviewed existing bilateral relations and explored ways to enhance them across various sectors. They also discussed parliamentary collaboration and addressed issues of mutual interest.
