Thunderstorms and Dust-Stirring Winds Forecasted Across Multiple Regions

Jeddah: The National Center for Meteorology has announced a weather forecast indicating partly cloudy to cloudy skies today, with an expected chance of thunderstorms and dust-stirring winds affecting the regions of Jazan, Aseer, Al-Baha, Makkah, Madinah, Tabuk, Al-Jouf, Hail, Qassim, Riyadh, and the Eastern Region. There is also potential for fog formation in these areas.

According to Saudi Press Agency, wind conditions over the Red Sea will vary, with northwesterly to northerly winds at speeds of 15-35 km/h in the northern and central parts, while the southern part will experience southwesterly to northwesterly winds at speeds of 12-50 km/h. Sea conditions will range from calm to choppy, with waves expected to be between half a meter and two meters high.

In the Arabian Gulf, northwesterly winds are forecasted to reach speeds of 12-50 km/h. The sea is expected to be calm to choppy, with wave heights ranging from half a meter to over two meters.
