Riyadh: The Saudi Food and Drug Authority (SFDA) has announced the opening of submissions for the 5th Regulatory Research Day, set to occur on November 3, 2025, at the SFDA headquarters in Riyadh.
According to Saudi Press Agency, the SFDA is calling for research submissions that concentrate on human and veterinary medicines, herbal products, food and animal feed, pesticides, medical devices and supplies, and cosmetics. Researchers are encouraged to submit scientific posters that will aid in the evaluation of product safety, efficacy, and quality. These contributions are expected to assist the regulatory system in the formulation of legislation and decisions, as well as in assessing the effectiveness of regulatory actions and the achievement of their intended goals.
Participants must meet certain conditions to be eligible. They should be affiliated with universities, research centers, or government and healthcare institutions, and their research must align with the themes of the Regulatory Research Day and comply with the specified terms and conditions. The deadline for submissions is September 15, 2025, and applications can be submitted through the provided online link.
The Regulatory Research Day is part of SFDA's efforts to promote research and innovation and to enhance the regulatory system.
