Saudi Team Prepares for FIBA Asia Cup 2025 in Jeddah

Jeddah: The Kingdom is preparing to host the 31st edition of the FIBA Asia Cup 2025 in Jeddah, from August 5 to 17, marking the second time the Kingdom has hosted the tournament, following the 1997 edition held in Riyadh. The Saudi national basketball team is currently undergoing training camps to enhance its technical and physical readiness for competition against elite teams.

According to Saudi Press Agency, the basketball team is focusing on improving its skills and strategies to face tough competition. The training sessions are designed to ensure the players are in peak condition, both technically and physically, for the upcoming matches.

The FIBA Asia Cup is a significant event in the basketball calendar, drawing teams from across the continent. Hosting the event in Jeddah is seen as an opportunity to showcase Saudi Arabia's growing involvement in international sports, as well as its ability to host large-scale sporting events.
