Saudi Scouts Association Completes Training Workshop on Harm Protection in Doha

Doha: The Saudi Arabian Scouts Association recently concluded its participation in a specialized training workshop on protection from harm, hosted by the Qatar Scouts and Guides Association. The event, held from September 25 to 30, brought together 32 leaders from 13 different scout associations.

According to Saudi Press Agency, the workshop aimed to strengthen the skills of national coordinators and protection committee members, supporting them in the practical implementation of protection principles within their scout associations. The program focused on developing practical plans and mechanisms for reporting and responding to cases of harm, as well as enhancing participants' abilities to listen, respond, and provide effective support.

The Saudi Arabian Scouts Association's participation underscores its commitment to fostering a safe scouting environment and supporting regional and international efforts by implementing policies and procedures that ensure the safety and well-being of all members.
