KSrelief Completes Pediatric Surgery Initiative in Zanzibar

Zanzibar city: King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Centre (KSrelief) concluded its voluntary medical project for pediatric general surgery in Zanzibar City, Tanzania. The project, which ran from September 18 to 27, gathered a team of 10 volunteers from various medical specialties.

According to Saudi Press Agency, the KSrelief medical team examined 89 children and performed four interventional radiology procedures using contrast dye. Additionally, the team conducted 81 specialized surgical operations during their mission.

This initiative aligns with Saudi Arabia's ongoing commitment to providing voluntary medical assistance in underserved countries worldwide through KSrelief.
