Damascus: The King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Centre (KSrelief) has launched six voluntary medical projects in Damascus, Syria. These projects, implemented from September 20 to 27, focused on cardiac surgery and catheterization, orthopedic surgery, prosthetics and rehabilitation, urology, neurosurgery, and deformity and plastic surgery. A team of 100 volunteer medical specialists participated in these initiatives.
According to Saudi Press Agency, the KSrelief medical team examined 810 individuals and conducted 665 surgical operations during this period.
This initiative underscores Saudi Arabia's humanitarian commitment, through KSrelief, to provide essential medical care and support to the Syrian people.
