Saudi-Omani Business Forum to Launch Wednesday in Muscat

Muscat: The Federation of Saudi Chambers of Commerce and the Oman Chamber of Commerce and Industry are set to convene the Saudi-Omani Business Forum on Wednesday in Muscat. The event will see participation from a delegation of 75 Saudi business owners and representatives from various government entities.



According to Saudi Press Agency, the forum’s agenda includes a meeting of the Saudi-Omani Joint Business Council, numerous bilateral meetings between company representatives, and field visits to significant economic and tourism sites across Oman. These activities aim to strengthen business ties and explore opportunities for collaboration between the two nations.



Trade volume between Saudi Arabia and Oman reached SAR36.8 billion in 2023, with SAR22.5 billion attributed to Saudi exports. This reflects a compound annual growth rate of 33.8% since 2019, highlighting the robust economic relationship that has developed between the two countries over recent years.
