AlUla Conference for Emerging Market Economies Opens with Global Economic Discussions


AlUla: The AlUla Conference for Emerging Market Economies commenced yesterday, co-hosted by the Saudi Ministry of Finance and the International Monetary Fund (IMF). The event was attended by Minister of Finance Mohammed Al-Jadaan, IMF Managing Director Kristalina Georgieva, and a distinguished group of ministers, policymakers, and economic experts.



According to Saudi Press Agency, the first day featured panel discussions on innovative strategies to strengthen the global economy, focusing on sustainable investment, financial technology, and infrastructure’s role in economic growth.



Today, discussions continue on adapting to global economic shifts and fostering cooperation between emerging and advanced markets, with strong participation from business and economic leaders.
