Saudi National Team Resumes Training for Crucial World Cup Qualifier Against Australia

Jeddah: The Saudi national football team resumed its preparatory program this evening at its Jeddah camp as they gear up for their crucial match against Australia in the final round of the third round of the Asian qualifiers for the 2026 World Cup.

According to Saudi Press Agency, Coach Herve Renard led a recovery session at the health club for all field players to ensure optimal performance. Following the session, players were granted a free period, with a regrouping scheduled for later in the evening at the camp headquarters.

Players Mohannad Al-Saad and Mohannad Al-Shanqeeti have started their rehabilitation program under the guidance of the physical trainer. The national team is set to continue its preparations with a closed evening training session tomorrow at the reserve stadium in King Abdullah Sports City, scheduled for 7:00 PM.
