Makkah: The Saudi Arabian Scouts Association has deployed 355 Girl Scouts to support efforts in serving Hajj pilgrims, in collaboration with the Grand Mosque's security. The initiative is part of public service camps organized by the association across Makkah, Madinah, and the holy sites.
According to Saudi Press Agency, Chairwoman of the Saudi Girl Scouts Committee Princess Sama bint Faisal stated that this participation reflects the association's commitment to enhancing the role of Saudi girls in scouting and volunteerism. She noted that the Scouts have shown exceptional dedication, professionalism, and discipline in carrying out their responsibilities in support of the pilgrims.
Princess Sama emphasized that empowering young Saudi women in the scouting movement marks a significant step toward a more inclusive society, where women are key partners in national development and vital contributors to volunteer service and community engagement.
