Mina: Minister of Islamic Affairs, Dawah and Guidance Sheikh Dr. Abdullatif Al Alsheikh today received at the ministry's Mina office Egypt's Al-Azhar University president Dr. Salama Dawood and the university's College of Islamic Studies for Boys dean Dr. Ramadan Mohammed Hassan.
According to Saudi Press Agency, Dr. Dawood praised the Kingdom's care for the pilgrims, affirming Saudi Arabia's role in serving the Two Holy Mosques and their visitors. He described these efforts as an extension of the prophetic mission in maintaining and honoring places of worship.
He also commended the initiative to host 1,000 pilgrims from the families of Palestinian martyrs and wounded, as part of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques' Guests Program for Hajj and Umrah, implemented by the ministry. Dr. Dawood recognized the initiative as generous and deeply humanitarian, reflecting the Kingdom's support for the Palestinian cause. He prayed for this initiative to be counted among the good deeds of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques and His Royal Highness the Crown Prince.
Dr. Hassan highlighted the Kingdom's progress and comprehensive renaissance in the service of the Two Holy Mosques. He noted the development and transformation that reflect the care and commitment of the Kingdom's leadership. He emphasized that this responsibility is a divine honor bestowed upon the Saudi leadership, placing the Kingdom at the forefront of nations serving the Islamic world.
