Saudi Arabia Wins Bronze at International Nuclear Science Olympiad 2025 in Malaysia

Riyadh: Saudi Arabia's national team secured the bronze medal in its second participation at the International Nuclear Science Olympiad (INSO2025), held in the Malaysian capital Kuala Lumpur from July 30 to August 6. The competition brought together 56 students from 14 countries.

According to Saudi Press Agency, Azzam Al-Omari from Jeddah's education department clinched the bronze medal, bringing Saudi Arabia's total in this global competition to five international awards: one silver and four bronze. This achievement highlights the Kingdom's rapid advancement in the field of advanced sciences, driven by a comprehensive national ecosystem that nurtures talent and fosters innovation.

INSO, launched with the support of the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) in 2024, serves as a global platform to promote the peaceful and safe use of nuclear technologies. It aims to inspire youth to specialize in this critical field and encourage them to develop scientific solutions that expand its applications.
