Saudi Arabia Implements Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques’ Ramadan Programs in Gabon and Hungary

Riyadh: The Ministry of Islamic Affairs, Dawah and Guidance has begun implementing the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques' gift programs for distributing dates and providing iftar meals in Gabon and Hungary during the holy month of Ramadan.

According to Saudi Press Agency, in Gabon, an official ceremony was held to launch the initiative, attended by Saudi Ambassador to Gabon Faraj bin Nader, Secretary-General of the Gabonese Government Abdul Razzaq Kambogo, and officials from the Supreme Islamic Center in Gabon. The program will distribute five tons of dates, benefiting 30,000 people.

Saudi Ambassador Faraj bin Nader praised the Kingdom's commitment to serving Islam and Muslims worldwide, highlighting the Ministry of Islamic Affairs' role in implementing these humanitarian programs. Secretary-General of the Gabonese Government Abdul Razzaq Kambogo also expressed gratitude to Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud for the initiative, emphasizing its positive impact on the Muslim community in Gabon.

Similarly, the Saudi Embassy in Hungary hosted a ceremony where two tons of dates were delivered under the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques program. The event was attended by Saudi Ambassador to Hungary Majed Al-Abdan, Hungarian Muslim Association Chairman Sultan Sulok, embassy staff, and Hungarian officials. The program will benefit approximately 4,000 people.
