New York: The United Nations General Assembly has elected Permanent Representative of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to the United Nations, Ambassador Dr. Abdulaziz bin Mohamed Alwasil, as one of the vice presidents for its 80th session. He will represent the Asian Group in this capacity.

According to Saudi Press Agency, Alwasil is recognized as one of the Kingdom's distinguished national diplomats, boasting an extensive professional track record in representing Saudi Arabia at numerous regional and international forums.
