Education Minister Reviews Scout Camps’ Pilgrim Support Operations

Makkah: Minister of Education and Chairman of the Saudi Arabian Scouts Association Yousef Al-Benyan has inspected the readiness of the main camp in Arafat. This inspection is part of the annual public service camps organized by the association to support pilgrims in Makkah and the holy sites.

According to Saudi Press Agency, during the tour, the minister reviewed the field preparations of the participating scout teams and the operational plans implemented by the Saudi Arabian Scouts Association as part of its Hajj season services. These plans include the distribution of more than one million guide maps produced annually in both printed and digital formats. The maps can be downloaded on smart devices to assist in guiding lost pilgrims effectively.

Following the tour, Al-Benyan praised the Saudi leadership's unwavering support and care for national efforts dedicated to serving the pilgrims. He emphasized that this sustained backing reflects the state's profound commitment to the two holy mosques and their visitors, forming a foundational pillar in the ongoing development of a comprehensive system to serve pilgrims.
