Pakistani Officials, Scholars Praise Saudi Arabia’s Leading Role in Serving Islam, Muslims

Islamabad: Pakistani officials and scholars praised the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia's leading role in supporting regional and global security and stability and serving Islam and Muslims.

According to Saudi Press Agency, their remarks came during a conference held Tuesday in Islamabad under the patronage of Jamiat Ahle Hadith (JAH), under the title 'Serving the Pilgrims of the Holy Mosque - The Distinguished Role of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and Pakistan.'

The event was attended by Saudi Ambassador to Pakistan Nawaf bin Said Al-Malki, Pakistani Minister for Religious Affairs Sardar Muhammad Yousuf, and a group of scholars and officials in Pakistan.

Participants in the conference praised the Kingdom - under Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, and His Royal Highness Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, Crown Prince and Prime Minister - for the remarkable services provided in organizing the Hajj season, expanding the Two Holy Mosques, developing infrastructure, offering comprehensive facilities and services to pilgrims, and for the successful Hajj of 1446 AH.

Participants also affirmed their full support for the Kingdom's firm and honorable positions on issues concerning the Islamic nation, and serving Islam and Muslims.
