New York City: The Muslim World League has reiterated its hope, along with the Arab and Islamic nations and global advocates for justice and peace, for resolving the Palestinian issue through a peaceful two-state solution. This call for action aligns with the high-level international conference chaired by the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia in collaboration with the French Republic.

According to Union of OIC News Agencies, the conference, taking place this week at the United Nations headquarters in New York City, has garnered broad international participation. The General Secretariat of the Muslim World League, led by Secretary-General Sheikh Dr. Muhammad bin Abdul Karim Al-Issa, emphasized that this historic event revives the peace process. The gathering aims to adhere to the resolutions of international legitimacy and uphold the historical and legal rights of the Palestinian people, which are seen as essential for achieving comprehensive, just, and lasting peace in the region.

Sheikh Dr. Muhammad bin Abdul Karim Al-Issa urged all countries to embrace their historical responsibility amid the prolonged suffering of the Palestinian people. He emphasized the importance of utilizing the conference as an opportunity to stand on the right side of history, supporting truth and justice, championing international legitimacy, and seeking to end the humanitarian crisis and its repercussions for the region and the global community.
