Motawifs of Turkiye Pilgrims Uses Barcodes to Lower Incidents of Pilgrims Getting Lost

Makkah: The management of the company Motawifs of Turkiye Pilgrims, and Pilgrims of Europe, America, and Australia has introduced new monitoring methods to ensure the success of the season, including the use of barcodes at pilgrims' accommodations and adoption of performance indicators as a tool to improve services. Monitoring screens ensure the quality of provided services. The system relies on the use of live video of individuals during their transport to and from the holy sites, and monitoring all customer service workers at their locations in hotels in Makkah and the holy sites, thus helping control and improve their performance. This year, a barcode system is used at pilgrims' residences to help them identify their location and guide them easily when moving from one place to another. The barcode provides the address and geographical location via GPS, and this will significantly reduce the incidents of pilgrims getting lost. Source: Saudi Press Agency
