Riyadh: The Ministry of Interior's pavilion at Cityscape Global 2024 showcased a special-forces security vehicle equipped with artificial-intelligence (AI) technology to enhance safety and smart mobility on roads connecting regions. Visitors interacted with the vehicle, designed to improve public safety and contribute to sustainable urban development in line with Saudi Vision 2030. According to Saudi Press Agency, the ministry's presence at the forum highlighted its efforts in leveraging AI for internal security, border security, crisis management, and traffic safety. It aims to reduce road fatalities by 50% and extend the discount period for accumulated traffic violation fines.
