Madinah: Saudi Red Crescent Authority emergency teams in Madinah successfully rescued a 67-year-old Indonesian pilgrim after he suffered sudden cardiac and respiratory arrest inside the Prophet's Mosque.
According to Saudi Press Agency, the authority's branch in the region reported that the medical transport center received a report of a pilgrim losing consciousness. Emergency teams quickly arrived on-site to find the patient without a pulse or breathing. They immediately began resuscitation efforts.
The teams successfully restored the pilgrim's pulse and stabilized his condition at the scene before transferring him to Al-Salam Hospital for further medical care.
This swift intervention highlights the high level of preparedness and rapid response capabilities of the authority's teams, fulfilling their humanitarian mission to serve pilgrims and provide immediate emergency care at vital locations like the Prophet's Mosque.
