Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques Approves Expanded Global Distribution of Dates During Ramadan

Riyadh: The Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, has approved the implementation of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques Gift for Dates Distribution Program in 102 countries during the holy month of Ramadan 1446 AH. Overseen by the Ministry of Islamic Affairs, Dawah, and Guidance, the program will distribute 700 tons of dates, marking an increase of 200 tons compared to last year.

According to Saudi Press Agency, Minister of Islamic Affairs, Dawah, and Guidance Sheikh Dr. Abdullatif bin Abdulaziz Al Alsheikh expressed his gratitude to the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, and His Royal Highness Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, Crown Prince and Prime Minister of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, for their continued support of Muslims worldwide, particularly during Ramadan. He highlighted the Kingdom's commitment to promoting Islamic values and combating hatred, extremism, and fanaticism.

The ministry has finalized all logistical preparations to ship the dates, coordinating efforts with religious attach©s in Saudi embassies, Islamic centers, and organizations worldwide.
