KSrelief Hosts Training Workshop for Lab Technicians in Taiz

Riyadh: The King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center (KSrelief) conducted a workshop in Yemen's Taiz Governorate to equip central laboratory technicians with skills in collecting and analyzing water and food samples. This initiative is part of the cholera response project carried out in collaboration with the World Health Organization (WHO) and Yemen's Ministry of Public Health and Population.

According to Saudi Press Agency, the workshop aimed to enhance laboratory capacity and strengthen epidemic surveillance. Dr. Ilan Abdul Haq, Deputy Governor of Taiz for Health Affairs, highlighted the significance of this workshop in improving technical skills and supporting efforts to prevent diseases transmitted through water and food.

This effort is a part of KSrelief's broader mission to bolster Yemen's health sector and advance technical capabilities within medical laboratories.
