Riyadh: Assembly of North Macedonia Chairman Afrim Gashi received Grand Mosque Imam Maher Al-Muaiqly yesterday in Skopje. The meeting was part of a program initiated by the Ministry of Islamic Affairs, Dawah and Guidance, aimed at enhancing communication with religious and official institutions across the globe.
According to Saudi Press Agency, Chairman Gashi expressed his gratitude towards the Saudi leadership for its significant efforts in serving Islam and Muslims on a global scale. He acknowledged the Kingdom's prominent role in promoting peace and moderation. Gashi viewed the visit as a testament to the well-established cooperation between Saudi Arabia and North Macedonia.
Imam Al-Muaiqly, in response, reaffirmed Saudi Arabia's commitment to serving Islamic affairs, strengthening its ties with Muslim communities, and promoting Islamic values rooted in moderation and tolerance.
