Riyadh: The King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center (KSrelief) delivered 28 alternative classrooms in the districts of Thamud, Ramah, and the rural areas of Mukalla in Hadramout Governorate, coinciding with the start of the 2025-2026 school year under the third phase of the Back to School project in Yemen. The initiative aims to keep students in school, ensure access to quality education, and reduce overcrowding.
According to Saudi Press Agency, the project is part of Saudi Arabia's efforts through KSrelief to support and improve education in Yemen. By providing these classrooms, KSrelief is addressing the challenges faced by the educational sector in Yemen, which has been severely affected by ongoing conflicts and resource limitations. This step is a continuation of Saudi Arabia's commitment to aiding the development and stability of its neighboring country through educational support.
