Riyadh: The King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center (KSrelief) today presented the Cochlear Implants Association (Asmaok) with a preliminary approval certificate to operate outside the Kingdom. The certificate was awarded at KSrelief headquarters in Riyadh by KSrelief Assistant Supervisor-General for Financial and Administrative Affairs Dr. Salah Al-Mazrou to association board chairman Naif Al-Wasmi.
According to Saudi Press Agency, the certificate aims to support efforts to raise community awareness about cochlear implants and their importance for early hearing loss cases. It seeks to help provide accessories for cochlear implant users and foster cooperation with government and civil institutions in needy countries on matters related to cochlear cases. The initiative also encourages voluntary and social work in serving and rehabilitating cochlear implant users and coordinates with maternity hospitals and cochlear centers to emphasize the importance of early screening for hearing loss.
