GCC Secretary-General Denounces Houthi Militia’s Continued Attacks Against Saudi Arabia

Riyadh: Secretary-General of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) Jasem Albudaiwi condemned in the strongest terms the heinous terrorist attacks that the Houthi militia continues to commit against the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, and its deliberate and repeated targeting of civilian infrastructure and civilians with ballistic missiles and drones, in a dangerous criminal escalation that once again confirms the terrorist approach of the Houthis.

According to Saudi Press Agency, the secretary-general indicated that the Houthi militia's continuation of these attacks constitutes a blatant violation of international law and a direct threat to the security and stability of the Kingdom, as well as the safety of its citizens and residents on its territory.

Albudaiwi renewed his affirmation that the GCC states stand united alongside the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, and fully support all measures and procedures it takes to protect its territory, safeguard its security, and preserve the safety of its people and national assets.
