Riyadh: The King Salman Global Academy for Arabic Language has launched the Hamza test, a strategic project linked to the Human Capability Development Program under Vision 2030, designed to measure and standardize Arabic language proficiency in academic and professional settings worldwide.

According to Saudi Press Agency, the test was developed by a team of specialists and experts, based on the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR) and international best practices. It evaluates four core skills: listening, reading, writing, and speaking, and covers four language levels from A2 to C1. The Hamza test is comprehensive and can be administered either in person or remotely, with AI-powered monitoring.

Over 2,700 individuals from more than 60 nationalities participated in the test between February 2024 and February 2025. It was conducted in four countries in cooperation with 23 local and eight international universities, providing a reliable method for evaluating language performance for universities and other relevant authorities.
