Salzburg: The King Salman Global Academy for Arabic Language (KSGAAL) recently participated in the European Association for Language Testing and Assessment (EALTA) annual conference, held in Salzburg, Austria. The academy presented a scientific paper titled "The Academy's Translation of the Guide for Aligning the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR) into Arabic: Challenges, Opportunities, and the Academy's Role and Impact."
According to Saudi Press Agency, KSGAAL secretary-general Dr. Abdullah Al-Washmi stated that the translation of the CEFR alignment guide is a significant initiative within the academy's projects aimed at building comprehensive Arabic content in the fields of measurement and evaluation. He emphasized that the step boosts the readiness of educational institutions to adopt advanced language practices based on reliable international frameworks.
KSGAAL's participation came in response to the recommendations of the Barcelona Conference held in October 2024.
