Mecca: As part of the Kingdom's commitment to enhancing the Hajj experience, the Ministry of Human Resources and Social Development has launched a significant volunteer initiative to showcase Saudi hospitality and provide exceptional services to pilgrims from their arrival until departure.
According to Saudi Press Agency, volunteers from across the Kingdom are engaged in offering comprehensive support, including welcoming pilgrims at land ports and holy sites, providing essential guidance in multiple languages, facilitating movement for older people and people with disabilities using appropriate means and specialized personnel, and organizing volunteer efforts, meal distribution, refreshments, and gifts.
The initiative plans to distribute over 100,000 Hajj kits, more than 15,000 gifts, and over 600,000 meals, ensuring pilgrim comfort and elevating service quality throughout Hajj.
