KFSHRC Expands Partnerships to Boost Health Innovation at Global Health Exhibition 2025

Riyadh: On Day Two of the Global Health Exhibition 2025, King Faisal Specialist Hospital and Research Center (KFSHRC) signed a memorandum of understanding with Riyadh Airports to develop health and public-awareness services at King Khalid International Airport, aligning health and aviation efforts and enhancing public-health initiatives.

According to Saudi Press Agency, the ceremony took place at KFSHRC's pavilion at the Riyadh Exhibitions and Convention Center in Malham. Riyadh Airports Company was represented by CEO Ayman AboAbah at the event. KFSHRC also signed a cooperation agreement with King Saud University and the Saudi Health Council, aiming to advance public health and disease prevention efforts.

In a move to enhance medicines security, KFSHRC partnered with Lifera to develop cell and gene therapies. This collaboration is focused on infrastructure readiness and skill development, which are crucial for introducing advanced treatments to patients in the Kingdom.

Further strengthening its portfolio, KFSHRC signed an MoU with SCG to expedite the development of cell and gene therapies. Additionally, an agreement with Eli Lilly will facilitate the localization of manufacturing advanced materials for diagnosing brain diseases, improving diagnostic accuracy and patient care.

KFSHRC also entered a strategic partnership with AstraZeneca to expand access to innovative therapies and to promote research leadership. An agreement with Prince Sultan University was made to support the development of AI solutions in healthcare, enhancing diagnostic efficiency and decision-making.

In healthcare mobility, KFSHRC partnered with Uber to create smart transport solutions, ensuring seamless access to specialized care for patients and staff. KFSHRC's leadership in healthcare innovation is confirmed by its ranking as the top academic medical center in the Middle East and North Africa, and fifteenth globally among the world's top 250 academic centers for 2025. It is also recognized by Brand Finance as the region's most valuable healthcare brand and listed among Newsweek's World's Best Hospitals and Best Smart Hospitals.
