Islamic Affairs Ministry Launches Girls’ National Quran Competition Final in Kyrgyzstan

Bishkek: As part of its international programs to serve the Holy Quran and promote its noble values, the Ministry of Islamic Affairs, Dawah and Guidance yesterday launched the final round for girls in the third national Quran competition for boys and girls, organized in cooperation with the Religious Administration of Muslims (Muftiate) of Kyrgyzstan.

According to Saudi Press Agency, a total of 27 contestants are competing in the final round across three categories: memorization of the entire Quran, memorization of 15 parts, and memorization of five parts. The competition is supervised by a specialized panel of judges in Quran memorization.

Several participants expressed their delight in taking part in this competition and extended their gratitude to the Ministry of Islamic Affairs, Dawah and Guidance for its ongoing efforts to serve the Holy Quran and Muslims worldwide, as well as for organizing international Quran competitions.

The final round for boys will be held today, while the competition will conclude tomorrow with an honoring ceremony for participants and winners, attended by senior officials, scholars, and religious figures.
