Islamic Affairs Ministry Showcases Rare Manuscripts at Jusoor Exhibition in Kosovo


Pristina: At the sixth annual Jusoor exhibition, organized by the Ministry of Islamic Affairs, Dawah and Guidance in Kosovo’s capital, Pristina, the Makkah Al Mukarramah Library’s pavilion witnessed remarkable turnout. The pavilion features some of the rarest historical Islamic manuscripts, making it a major attraction at the exhibition, drawing visitors from various segments of society.



According to Saudi Press Agency, visitors expressed their great admiration for the rare heritage contained in the pavilion, which embodies the depth of Islamic civilization, including Quran copies and manuscripts dating back centuries. Two handwritten Quran copies dating back to 1247 AH and 1270 AH were showcased, alongside “Ihkam Al-Ahkam” book by Ibn Daqiq Al-Eid, copied in 793 AH, and “Al-Fath al-Mubeen” by Ibn Hajar Al-Makki, copied in 974 AH.



Visitors learned about the history and value of these manuscripts through detailed explanations provided by specialists that added a cultural and intellectual dimension to their experience inside the pavilion and enhanced their awareness of the importance of preserving Islamic heritage.
