Riyadh: Deputy Minister of Interior Nasser bin Abdulaziz Al-Dawood visited Cityscape Global 2024, organized by the Ministry of Municipalities and Housing from November 11 to 14. The major event is taking place at the Riyadh Exhibition and Convention Center in Malham, north of Riyadh, under the theme, ‘The Future of Living.’
According to Saudi Press Agency, Al-Dawood toured the event venue and the Ministry of Interior’s pavilion, which showcases the enhancement of internal security systems and the utilization of AI technologies.
The pavilion also highlighted the ministry’s capabilities in maintaining security, securing borders, managing crises and disasters, as well as enhancing fieldwork and traffic safety efforts to reduce road accident fatalities by 50%.
Furthermore, the pavilion showcased the ministry’s extension of the grace period for settling accumulated traffic violation fines by 50%, and to uphold environmental security and sustainability in alignment with the objectives of Saudi Vision 2030.
